Sewer Collection System

This department maintains all sanitary sewer collection lines and pumps necessary for the flow of wastewater to reach the wastewater treatment plant. New collection systems are constructed by this department.

Wastewater Treatment Plant

The plant is operated by one (1) lead operator and one (1) plant operator. The responsibility of this operation is to treat wastewater to confirm compliance with our discharge permit prior to being released into the waterways.

Water Distribution System

This department maintains all water distribution lines and pumps necessary for the flow of treated water from our water treatment plants to our customers. This department always stands ready to respond to any after business hours maintenance issues.

Water Treatment Plant

This plant operates an intake from the Duck River in western Humphreys County. The untreated water is pumped to our treatment plant where it is processed and tested prior to being sent into the distribution system. The plant is operated by one (1) lead operator and one (1) plant operator. The operators are responsible for the operation of 3 deep wells with an above ground filtration system. Four water storage tanks are incorporated within the water system with a large section of western and southern Humphreys County served by the municipal water system.
