The City of Waverly thru a cooperative agreement
with county government, humane society and two other municipalities
operate the animal shelter. The shelter is adequately staffed
and of recent construction. The staff cares for abandoned,
abused, neglected, lost, injured and surrendered animals.
A strong emphasis is placed on the adoption of animals.
We enjoy a very high success rate with adoptive animals
regionally.
