Waverly is governed by a Mayor and Board of Alderman. One
Alderman is elected by the Board to serve as Vice Mayor.
The terms of office for Mayor and Alderman are staggered
and are held for four (4) years. All Aldermen run at large.
Each alderman chair one of the City’s working committees.
